My passion for supporting others began with a deep curiosity about life’s most complex moments: grief, illness, disappointment, and everything in between. With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate challenges.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centered, Gestalt, Individual Psychology, Reality Therapy, CBT, REBT, Psychoanalytic, EFT, Couples Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Grief Support. I tailor each session to the unique story and needs of those in front of me. My goal is always to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and safe enough to explore their inner world and begin to heal.
Before stepping fully into the role of a therapist, I spent years as a hospital chaplain and spiritual care provider, supporting people through serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and the spiritual questions that often arise in times of crisis. I’ve also had the opportunity to share my reflections on disappointment as a guest speaker at the University of Waterloo, a subject close to my heart. In addition, I have collaborated with organizations focused on rare diseases, including the Canadian Fabry Association and the Canadian Association of Pompe, where I have delivered keynote addresses on strategies for coping and building resilience.
I hold a Master of Divinity and a Master of Christian Leadership, with a focus on the midlife crisis, and I’ve studied Clinical Pastoral Education. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Psychotherapy to deepen my ability to serve others.
At home, I’m a husband to Laura and a father to three wonderful boys, two through adoption. Family life grounds me and continually teaches me about connection, growth, and love.
It’s an honour to be invited into the stories of others. I believe no one should have to walk through life’s hardest moments alone, and I’m here to walk with you.
Let’s connect to start this journey together.
